Hannah Mae Lee: Wakeland’s Powerhouse Middle Blocker Ready for Baton Rouge
Already committed to LSU, Hannah Mae Lee continues to dominate the court for Wakeland — combining elite athleticism, precision timing, and relentless energy that separates her from the rest of Texas volleyball.

At six feet tall, Hannah Mae Lee has been a dominant presence for Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas — a player whose power, precision, and poise separate her every time she steps on the court.
In Wakeland’s recent matchup, Lee tallied 18 kills while hitting .243 across four sets , continuing a standout senior campaign that includes 370 total kills , 82 sets played , a .263 hitting percentage , and 37 blocks .
What makes Lee special is how she combines strength with explosiveness. For her size, she plays with elite vertical bounce and a quick first step that allows her to get up fast and strike with authority. Her timing is sharp, and when she’s in rhythm, she delivers kills with a level of power that commands respect across the net.
She plays with an energy that’s dominant — every point carries emotion, and every swing feels like a statement. Her ability to locate the ball, time her jump, and finish with precision reflects the polish of an athlete who’s prepared for the next level.
Lee’s development has been shaped by time with Frisco Flyers , MadFrog , and TAV , three of the premier club programs in Texas. Coaches Ally Cobb and Paxton Wade have each contributed to her growth and readiness for what’s ahead.
Now set to graduate early and join LSU this December, Lee brings not just size and skill to Baton Rouge, but a college-ready presence that’s already evident in her play. She looks the part of a player who can make an impact fast — strong, explosive, and built for the big stage.
